Council of International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
Supporting Hispanic international medical graduates (IMGs) at every stage of their careers. The NHMA IMG Section is building programs to empower IMGs with networking, career development and guidance on the licensing process, while advancing health equity in Hispanic communities.
Council of Young Physicians (CYP)
The NHMA Council of Young Physicians (CYP) welcomes physicians who graduated within the last five years from U.S. residency or fellowship training. CYP provides a platform to connect, network and grow as leaders in medicine while advocating for the health of Latino communities.
Council of Residents (COR)
The Council of Residents (COR) is a forum where medical and surgical residents and fellows can connect, network and explore career opportunities. COR helps members grow personally and professionally in health policy, academia and business while driving health equity for Hispanics and underserved communities.
Specialty Councils
Advancing specialty care in Hispanic communities through collaboration. Join a dynamic network of NHMA members in fields such as anesthesiology, public health, surgery, pediatrics and emergency medicine to share knowledge, build connections and lead change.
