COVID-19 Update and NHMA Call to Action

Join NHMA and its partners for its first virtual briefing series on COVID-19 that will address lessons learned by physicians and healthcare providers from the pandemic on the future of healthcare delivery and more.

NHMA has partnered with Allied Against Opioid Abuse (AAOA) to create culturally appropriate material to educate Spanish-speaking audiences about prescription opioid safety. We are looking for physicians to join an Advisory Committee to help assist in creating this toolkit. Committee Members will inform NHMA on the toolkit's format and content and also advise on culturally-sensitive translation of materials.

NHHF Sponsorship Opportunities

The National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) asks you to support its Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship and Mentoring Program. For 16 years, this program has awarded $1.3 million to 2666 outstanding Hispanic health professional students for their exceptional academic performance, leadership, and commitment to caring for Hispanics.

Your sponsorship will continue to support students in medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health, pharmacy, and PA schools across the U.S. In addition, the program will cover mentoring and the travel of the new scholars and their parents to the event.

Visit the NHHF website for more information on how to sponsor. Participation for non-sponsors is free.
