The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hematology/Oncology Division seeks medical oncologists interested in joining its exemplary team of Cancer Institute and Cancer Network physicians and physician scientists. All applications will be considered, but priority will be given to those applicants with an interest in breast, thoracic, myeloma and GI/GU oncology. Interest in clinical trials and translational research is preferred. Recruitment is for tenured and tenure-track clinical faculty at all ranks and includes academic appointment in the Hematology/Oncology Division. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in hematology/oncology and be eligible for licensure with the Arkansas State Medical Board. A signing bonus will be provided. This recruiting effort is made possible through significant institutional support and a $10M annual commitment from the state of Arkansas to support the Cancer Institute’s efforts to attain NCI Designation.

Rockefeller Cancer Institute has been one of the nation’s premier cancer centers for more than three decades, and it is the only cancer center in the state of Arkansas with a robust cancer research portfolio and a mission to improve cancer outcomes for all Arkansans. The Cancer Institute treats over 2,500 new cancer patients annually and has an extensive effort focused on delivering cancer care and conducting research in underserved populations. Its 135 members conduct outstanding cancer research in multiple scientific programs. Cancer Institute members receive approximately $10 million in extramural cancer research funds annually, including multiple “team science” grants. The Cancer Institute has 5 institutional shared resource facilities. A robust clinical trial infrastructure currently supports nearly 270 cancer clinical trials. The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is one of 57 institutions with an NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award, which supports translational research and creates a supportive environment that synergizes with the Cancer Institute to promote junior investigators and transdisciplinary research.

The Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Department of Psychiatry s currently recruiting board eligible/certified psychiatrists for inpatient and outpatient positions in both adult and child psychiatry.

Looking for an OB/GYN Generalist and Certified Midwife to Practice Community Health in the Bronx, NY

Morris Heights Health Center is a leading nonprofit provider of integrated health care for New Yorkers. We have a great opportunity in our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) for an Ob/Gyn generalist to join our expanding women’s health practice committed to delivering top quality patient care in a culturally competent manner.

This busy practice currently consists of two highly trained Board Certified OB/GYN Physicians and five Certified Nurse Midwives with extensive community health experience. There is a balanced mix of OB and GYN patients with the opportunity to perform office gynecological procedures.

NYS license and certification is required. Spanish speaking skills are a plus. This job is purely ambulatory and there is no on-call required.  One Saturday per month is a requirement. The schedule is Flexible.

The LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, along with Ochsner LSU Health System Shreveport, seeks a Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. The new chair will provide leadership to the department with the development and implementation of a dynamic vision for its future, while also working with the Dean and other Department Chairs in the ongoing evolution and success of the School.  Under the leadership of Chancellor G.E. Ghali, DDS, MD, FACS, FRCS(Ed), the Chair will build on an excellent foundation of over 50 full- and part-time faculty and work collaboratively with other departments.

The University’s primary teaching hospital, Ochsner LSU Health System-Shreveport, serves as a tertiary care referral center and regional trauma center for North Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas.  The Department also works closely with the local Shiners Hospital for Children. Overall, the combined facilities provide extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient care, including well-child care, acute care, and pediatric subspecialty care.
