Infection Control

NHMA is proud to partner with Project Firstline, CDC’s national infection control training and education collaborative, which aims to provide foundational and practical knowledge directly to all frontline healthcare personnel and targeted components of the public health workforce.

Hispanic and Latino communities often present with increased risk for infectious diseases, like in the case of HIV, COVID-19, STIs, and Tuberculosis. NHMA is dedicated to the health of Hispanic and Latino communities — part of this mission is to continue partnering with organizations that support these efforts and allow us to continue empowering Hispanic/Latino physicians to lead efforts to improve the health of Hispanic and other underserved populations.

NHMA is excited to involve the Leadership Fellowship class of 2021 in this project and you should also expect to hear more about this at our 25th Annual Hispanic Health Conference in March 2022!
