Call for Abstracts & Research CompetitionPresent Your Research at the NHMA Florida Chapter Inaugural Meeting! The NHMA Florida Chapter invites pre-medical students, medical students, residents, fellows, international medical graduates (IMGs) and early-career physicians to submit their work for our inaugural Research Competition. We welcome case reports, original research, quality improvement initiatives and public health projects. All accepted abstracts will be invited to present a poster at the meeting on October 10, and the highest-scoring submissions will advance to a live podium presentation before a panel of judges. Winning abstracts will be featured through NHMA Florida Chapter channels and may also be considered for feature in the Journal of the National Hispanic Medical Association. Abstract Submission Deadline: September 18, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET Presenters must attend the meeting in person and be registered for the NHMA Florida Chapter Inaugural Meeting. PoliciesRefunds & Transfers Registration fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to a colleague at no charge — email us before October 2, 2026 with the new attendee's details.
