Maternal Immunization Summit

Every year, the American College of Gynecology's Maternal Immunization Task Force organizes a summit focused on maternal immunization. This gathering creates a platform to address the challenges and methods for improving immunization rates among mothers. It facilitates discussions on strategies, obstacles, and the resource requirements of stakeholders involved in maternal immunization. The primary objective is to establish partnerships among these stakeholders and enhance maternal immunization rates through various means, including collaborations, enhancing capabilities, and educating healthcare providers and patients.
NHMA's immediate past-chairwoman, Nereida Correa, MD, MPH, presented at the summit. She educated the audience about NHMA's efforts of increasing maternal immunization, as well as our vaccination campaigns: Vaccinate for All and the NHMA Flu Campaign.
