The NHHF is located at the New York Academy of Medicine, 103rd and Fifth Avenue, Manhattan,  to further its organizational capacity in research and education.

The NHHF is affiliated with the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, New York University and is proud to partner on the NHMA Leadership Fellowship - our executive leadership training of the physician members of NHMA interested in public service.

The major programs of the NHHF include its patient and provider information in English and Spanish and research training information through the portal, HispanicHealth.info, the Early Childhood Obesity Physician Health Communications Initiative to develop policy recommendations to reduce obesity among Hispanics for California and New York, and its future research efforts as it develops the National Center for Hispanic Community Health Research. NHHF is interested in developing the National Hispanic Health Research Network for mentoring and networking among Hispanic researchers.

In 2004, the NHHF established the National Hispanic Health Professional Student Scholarship Program to award scholarships to outstanding students in medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health and policy and convenes two Galas - this year at the JW Marriiott Hotel at LA Live!, Los Angeles, CA, on November 21st, 2013 and at the Marriott Marquis New York Times Square on December 5th, 2013.
